Number:

A core group of teachers have been involved in YuMi Deadly Maths training.  These teachers will introduce the program to staff and the philosophies of the YuMi Deadly Maths will be used to develop a school wide pedagogical framework.  This will enhance work that has been completed as part of the Maths; Make It Count Program.

Differentiation:

Data and analysis of data is being used to inform teaching and learning in the classroom with a focus on needs of individuals leading to differentiation.  The teacher in the role of Support Teacher – Literacy and Numeracy is supporting teachers in the analysis of data and subsequent planning and teaching.

School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS):

A team of staff and parents is reviewing the South SMART values and re-establishing the strong culture of these values which has existed for a number of years. This informs our Responsible Behaviour Plan for Students.
